One of the buildings that Kojira destroys in Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed. I used the same building for destruction and the Kojira building energy drain effect. I could use the same asset with two different animations. Destruction and animation were completed in #Houdini. The second part, as the building rises is a looped animation that blends together with the first frame of the animation. All animations are Skeletal Meshes since VATs wasn't ideal. The FX artists created the smoke. I will post a breakdown on how I did the destruction in another video.
